Fredrick Lawless gave Ardclough use of a playing field in the first attempt to establish a GAA club

1932

Ardclough GAA loses field to Land Commission, club disbands

Mick Houlihan became Ardclough's first intercounty hurler when he played against Dublin in the Leinster Minor Championship Final.

1934
Leonard "Sonny" Cullen became Ardclough's first intercounty footballer
1936
New club founded at meeting in Mick Treacy's boot and shoe repair workshop by Mick Treacy (Chairman), Johnny O'Grady (Secretary) and Dan Graham (Treasurer)
1938
Ardclough GAA aquired playing field from Jim Christian who agrees to swap for Land Commission site
1941
Junior Footballers won the Championship
1942
Minor Footballers won the Championship
1944
John Farrell is Ardclough's first senior footballer when he played against Carlow
1948
Ardclough hurling club founded by Mick Houlihan (Chairman), Mick Johnson (Secretary) and Patrick "Sonny" O'Connor
1949
Ardclough won the Senior Football Championship beating Army in the final, in front of a then record attendance of 10,035
1959
Ardclough won a second Junior Football Championship
1962
Ardclough Camogie club was founded by Margaret Buggle (Chairperson), Ann Johnson (Secretary) and Breda Johnson (Treasurer)
1965
Kildare win the All-Ireland U-21 Football Championship beating Roscommon in the final with Ardclough's Cha O'Connor on the panel
1966
Ardclough branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann founded with Paddy Corry as Chairman
